FOTO ARSENAL WIEN is the new centre for photographic images and lens-based media in Austria. Initiated by the City of Vienna in autumn 2022, the institution presents and mediates
institution presents and communicates contemporary photography in all its forms of appearance and use. The temporary location in the MuseumsQuartier Wien will be replaced by its own exhibition hall in the Arsenal grounds at the end of 2024. As a platform, FOTO ARSENAL WIEN also organises FOTO WIEN – Austria’s largest biennial festival for photography, which takes place as part of the European Month of Photography (EMOP). The artistic director of FOTO ARSENAL WIEN and FOTO WIEN is Felix Hoffmann.
From 2023-2024, the FOTO ARSENAL will occupy the open space and salon in the MuseumsQuartier with a dense exhibition programme of international artists.
Opening hours: daily except Mon, 11 – 19h
Ticket prices: 10€, reduced 5€ (students, civil servants, pensioners), free admission for all persons up to 19 years old, partner of Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur.
The respective proof must be shown at the ticket control.
The ticket entitles the holder to a single visit to the exhibition.
All ticket purchases are fixed purchases and tickets cannot be returned.
