The Architekturzentrum Wien is the Austrian museum of architecture. Making full use of its 2,000m2 of space, the Az W shows, discusses and investigates
how architecture and urban development shape the daily lives of each of us.
The Kunsthalle Wien has a focus on international contemporary art and the current discourses around it. It showcases artworks that shed light on social relations and invites visitors to join in the conversation.
The Leopold Museum, and with it the Leopold Collection, is home to the largest collection of works by Egon Schiele in the world, numbering some 40 paintings and around 180 drawings.
It also houses an exhibition of modernist Austrian art of international standing.

Exhibitions of contemporary art are presented in the two exhibition spaces of the MuseumsQuartier Wien, the MQ Freiraum and the MQ Salon. The focus is on video works, installations and art that deals with socio-political issues. Currently FOTO ARSENAL WIEN presents a dense programme of exhibitions by international artists at MQ Freiraum & Salon.
